It’s been wonderful connecting with many of you over the last couple of months. Since I joined the company in October, I’ve had the pleasure of hitting the road and meeting over 150 members of our Adviser community across New Zealand.
From Auckland and Wellington in the North, through to Queenstown, Dunedin and Invercargill in the south, it’s been humbling how positive and welcoming you’ve all been. It was especially great to visit some longstanding Advisers in the wider Canterbury region as well.
During these visits, I was struck by the quality of your work ethic and dedication to your customers. Your feedback highlighted the importance of close and ongoing collaboration in the future, which I look forward to carrying through into 2024.

As we near the end of 2023, we can look back on what was a big year of delivery for Fidelity Life. We came out of Engage determined to follow through on our commitments to you – and since then we’ve launched Live chat, released our Working together guide, began publishing turnaround times, set the wheels in motion for Adviser edge, launched 6 new product enhancements, hosted a retention-focused masterclass and more.
I hope you’ll all be having a well-deserved rest and spending time with loved ones over the holiday period. We’ve got even more to deliver next year – but before we take some time off to reset, we have some news to share with you.
