Your rights to sell your Book of Business.

You may at times look to transfer or sell your Book of Business to another financial advice provider or party with a distribution agreement with us.

To ensure the sale of the business runs smoothly, Fidelity Life needs to approve the proposed transfer of your book prior to the settlement and completion of the sale and purchase. If you don’t seek prior approval, this may delay or stop the completion of the sale.

Please refer to your Distribution Agreement, page 10 (clause 11.0) before entering into any transfer or sale and reach out to your BM.

It’s also a good time to remind you that if you are making other changes to your business structure or model there are other obligations in your Distribution Agreement that may need to be considered. For more information on this, please refer to page 8 (clause 9.3.6).
