Fidelity Life reveals Adviser awards finalists ahead of Engage 2024.

Fidelity Life has revealed the finalists for its coveted Adviser awards, with the winners set to be announced at the finale of Engage 2024, the life insurer’s annual adviser conference taking place on 6-7 November in Auckland.

And the finalists are…!

Professional of the future award.
Awarded to the Adviser who is modernising their financial advice business and continuing to upskill and be involved in the wider industry.

• Nicola Jenkins - Total Life Financial Advice
• Ben Gladwell – Finlife Insurance and Investment Services

Cary Veenhof award.
In honour of a former Fidelity Life Business manager and awarded to the Adviser who has strong values, shows respect to insurance partners, and consistently delivers outstanding customer service.

• Andrea Reid - Aliya Insurance Brokers
• Tara Nel - The Insurance Pad
• Shane Gadsdon - Discovery Financial Services

Team of the year.
Awarded to the team with a great strategy and brand, underpinned by a strong leadership team to deliver outstanding advice solutions.

• Financial Independence 
• Amicus Group 
• Insurance Design 

Two other prestigious Adviser awards will also be presented at Engage. The Lifetime award is for an Adviser with over 20 years’ experience who has shown a strong commitment to the industry, while the Gordon Watson award, which honours Fidelity Life’s founder, is for the Adviser who champions the company’s customer led values.

Fidelity Life’s Business manager of the year will also be announced at Engage.

Fidelity Life’s Chief Commercial Officer Bronwyn Kirwan says the Adviser awards celebrate the positive impacts Advisers have on New Zealanders’ wellbeing.

With a theme of ‘Growth for good’, Engage 2024 takes place on 6-7 November at the JW Marriott hotel in Auckland. Advisers will enjoy an exciting programme of inspirational speakers and new product and service announcements.

Guest speakers include New Zealand’s most decorated Olympian Dame Lisa Carrington, iconic kiwi comedian and cancer patient Dai Henwood, renowned journalist and documentarian Patrick Gower and Luke Ashworth, a UK-based adviser and entrepreneur using AI to transform global life insurance distribution.
