She has developed deep human resources, communications and corporate affairs expertise working in the insurance, health, banking and media sectors. She previously held Executive Manager roles across the corporate affairs, sustainability and people functions at Suncorp New Zealand, senior positions at Auckland District Health Board, Kiwibank and Bank of New Zealand and, earlier in her career, worked in television as a live studio director.
