From today, Fidelity Life customers facing financial hardship in Selwyn, Christchurch City and Banks Peninsula as a direct result of recent severe weather can apply to have their premiums temporarily waived for up to 3-months. Customers eligible for this offer may also be able to extend their premium relief for as much as a further 3-months, without affecting their insurance protection.
Fidelity Life’s Chief Commercial Officer Bronwyn Kirwan acknowledges the hardships these communities have endured due to the severe weather and reaffirms the company’s commitment to standing by its customers.
“The recent severe weather has been tough on these communities, and we want to help. Insurance is more than just a policy - it’s protection when you need it most.
“Our premium relief offer gives them security and peace of mind in times of uncertainty by ensuring affected customers stay covered while they focus on rebuilding. We hope this support gives them the breathing room they need to recover.”
