Considering the recent severe weather in Selwyn, Christchurch City and Banks Peninsula, we’ve developed a relief offer for existing Fidelity Life customers suffering from financial hardship as a direct result of this. The areas included in the relief offer are those included in the State of Local Emergency declaration announced on 1-May 2025.
And we’re here to support the customers in these affected areas in their time of need.
Relief offer for affected customers.
From today, any of our customers in these affected areas directly suffering financial hardship as a result of the recent severe weather event who are eligible, will be able to apply to have their premiums temporarily waived for up to 3-months, with the potential to extend for up to a further 3-months, without affecting their insurance protection.
We’d like your help to make sure these severe weather affected customers with Fidelity Life policies know that financial relief is available if they need it.
Please download the customer flyer below for the details, including the terms and conditions.
Applications must be received on or before 31-July 2025.
