We know there's more we need to do to better to help foster a more inclusive and diverse industry that more evenly reflects our multicultural and diverse community. The first step is finding the right voices to help us understand differing customer needs across a range of cultural communities here in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Hearing our community voice in upcoming workshops.

We are pleased to say we now have several advisers supporting us and are holding workshops later in May to gather valuable insights regarding our cultural communities.

We are looking forward to finding ways to help us tailor our services to better meet those needs and drive meaningful change.

Based on our current interest, we’re looking to focus on Adviser community groups for the following communities. See the workshop dates and times also below:

  • Indian: Tuesday, 20-May: 2:00-3.30PM
  • Māori & Pasifika: Monday, 26-May: 2:00-3:30PM
  • Chinese: Tuesday, 27-May: 2:00-3:30PM

Workshop pre-read materials.

In advance of the workshop, we’ve prepared a pre-read and space for you to drop your thoughts into. This will give you an indication of what we’re looking to learn from you.

  • The workshop will focus on the life insurance customer journey and identifying pain points and opportunities to serve our community better.
  • There will be time to then reflect and agree on key themes and prioritisation of potential solutions.

Your community matters. Your voice is invaluable.

We’re committed to listen and to learn from our Community voices advisers, to help us understand more about their community or the community they serve. With their insights, we want to identify opportunities for serving our diverse community, even better.

We look forward to sharing our insights and opportunities post the workshop findings.
