We’re helping more local groups thrive – and make an even bigger difference, together. 

The We support who you support programme is a grant-based initiative that backs the community organisations you’re passionate about through direct funding. It’s available to all advisers and aims to uplift grassroots organisations across Aotearoa, New Zealand. 

By working with those of you who already support a local club, charity, or community programme, we aim to extend your positive impact by contributing $10,000 to carefully chosen organisations that demonstrate genuine need and show a significant impact in making a positive community difference.  

This is more than funding; it’s about recognising the heart you bring to your communities and the positive impact you’re already making.  Together, we aim to connect with your supported organisation, share their story, and help drive meaningful change.

As part of We support who you support, we’ll be capturing and sharing stories from successful applicants – shining the light on the incredible work of these organisations and the impact made possible through our partnership and your nomination. 

These stories are a chance to showcase the purpose and passion of local clubs, charities and community programmes, and to inspire us all to continue to make a positive change across Aotearoa.  

How it works.

  • If you actively support your local community organisation, this might be a local club, charity, cause or community programme, then you have the opportunity to apply for a grant on their behalf for $10,000 in funding from Fidelity Life. 
  • Inform your local club, charity or community programme about your nomination for extra funding. They may be able to help provide some information that strengthens your application, making it more compelling.  
  • Review our Terms and Conditions and check the eligibility criteria to ensure you and your nominated organisation qualify. 
  • Complete the online Application form and submit this before 5:00pm on 15-February 2026.
  • In March 2026, we’ll be in touch to announce the successful organisations you’ve nominated.  
  • We’ll ask successful organisations to complete a consent form as part of our due-diligence process. This helps us confirm we’ve done the right checks and that providing extra funding to this organisation, aligns with our Terms and Conditions.  
  • Grants will be paid directly to the successful organisation by Fidelity Life. 
  • Our marketing team will aim to amplify their story and the impact we’ve made together.

Before completing the online application form, take a moment to read the Terms and Conditions, and review the below eligibility criteria.

All criteria set out must be met to qualify.   

You have an active Fidelity Life Distribution Agreement.
You have no outstanding commission debt owing to Fidelity Life at the time of application.
You don’t have any outstanding action items from a customer dispute or audit.
You are not currently under investigation by Fidelity Life, the Financial Markets Authority, or any other regulator, product provider, or binding industry group.
You confirm that neither you, nor any relative, will receive any personal or professional monetary or non-monetary benefit from the grant.
You confirm that the organisation you are nominating meets the Charitable Purpose or Community Benefit as set out in the Terms and Conditions and the funding is not for an excluded purpose.

  1. If your nominated organisation is successful, we’ll send a consent form directly to the organisation to sign and return it.
