An accomplished leader, Dave brings more than 20 years’ leadership experience, delivering business value through strategic partnerships. He is a great example of our succession processes here, having begun his journey with us in a senior leadership role, before being promoted to his current role in February 2025.

Before coming to New Zealand in 2023, Dave founded and led consultancy practice Partnering Excellence in Sydney. This is following a 13-year career at TAL Australia, where he held a range of senior leadership roles.

His early career saw him focus on his passion for social justice and alleviating poverty, with field-based roles in East Timor and India.

Born in Australia, Dave is happily settled in New Zealand with his partner Emily.
