Fidelity Life offers a helping hand to weather-affected South Island customers 

Fidelity Life is offering a helping hand to its South Island customers affected by the recent severe weather events in Marlborough’s Wairau-Awatere Ward and the Nelson-Tasman region.

From today, Fidelity Life customers who are facing financial hardship as a direct result of the severe weather in these areas who are eligible can apply to have their premiums temporarily waived for up to 3-months. This support may be extended for up to a further 3-months, without affecting their insurance protection. 

Fidelity Life’s Chief Commercial Officer Bronwyn Kirwan says the company stands with these communities impacted by these weather events. 

“We know how tough it’s been for many New Zealanders hit by this extreme weather. Our hearts go out to everyone affected. 

“At Fidelity Life, being there for our customers means showing up when it matters most. Insurance is about peace of mind, especially when life feels uncertain. We hope this relief offer provides our customers with some breathing room, helping them keep their cover in place during these challenging times.”
