Supporting those affected by the recent severe weather event.

Following the recent severe weather in Whangārei, Thames Coromandel and Hauraki Districts, and Bay of Plenty and Tairāwhiti Regions, we’ve developed a relief offer for existing Fidelity Life customers suffering from financial hardship as a direct result of these events. The areas included in the relief offer are those included in the State of Local Emergency declarations announced on 20 and 21-January 2026.

And we’re here to support the customers in these affected areas in their time of need.

From today, any eligible customers in these affected areas, directly suffering financial hardship as a result of the recent severe weather events, will be able to apply to have their premiums temporarily waived for up to 3-months, with the potential to extend for up to a further 3-months, without affecting their insurance protection.

We’d like your help to make sure these customers with Fidelity Life policies know that financial relief is available if they need it.

Support when it's needed most: Access Raise for guidance through hardship.

If your customer is experiencing hardship, we're here to support them with confidential expert guidance from Raise. They could have access to up to 3 free counselling sessions.

Simply reach out to our Customer value team to discuss your customer’s situation or ask your customer to contact customer value directly. Customer Value will guide your customer through the referral process so the customer in question can receive timely, tailored support. This could be to help with:
