Cecilia has over 25 years of experience in life risk financial services sector during which a key focus for her has been lifting the professionalism of financial advice. Her expertise includes building advice processes that deliver tailored customer outcomes, particularly in business risk management for SMEs, and developing and facilitating comprehensive training programmes to build adviser knowledge and skills.

With a background spanning from adviser roles to pioneering fintech and online learning platforms, Cecilia's impactful leadership has been evident during her tenure as Auckland Branch Chair at the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA) from 2002-2006 and then as the elected Member Director – Risk for Financial Advice New Zealand (FANZ) from 2018-2023. She has an unwavering commitment to elevating standards within the financial services landscape.
